Matinha de Queluz is a small enclosure attached to the Queluz National Palace and separated from its gardens by the IC 19 motorway. It is home to countless self-sown arboreal species, a treasured stand of oak trees and other natural vegetation and is considered, in scientific circles, to be a potential genetic reserve.
